Hello,

I would like to try to use published workflow. I found a list here. I can either "import" them or "save as file". I don't want to chose import cause I want to use them in my own server. If I save as a file it gives me a .json like file, with a .ga extension. How can I use that file then?

Another option is to go the Admin section of my server, select "Search Tool Shed" "Galaxy Main toolshed" "search for workflows", but the list of published workflows is then much smaller...

Also, is it possible for users that are not Admins on theirs servers to somehow look for and use published workflows?

Thanks!

Hello,

After saving the .ga file, on your own server's GUI go the top menu item Workflows. Click on it. On the workflow hub page is a button to upload workflows.

Any Published data is accessible by any user on the instance, admin or not. Published data is listed under the top menu item Shared Data. Import a copy of someone's published workflow, history, etc in order to work with it as your own.

Hope this helps, Jen, Galaxy team

Thank you, I'd missed that one apparently!

Is there a way to find demo datasets to test workflows from the Galaxy team? Like this one for example: https://usegalaxy.org/u/galaxyproject/w/variant101

Thanks again
