Why is not present the Trimmomatic operation MAXINFO at the Galaxy instance of Trimmomatic?

The "Maximun information quality filtering" (MAXINFO) performs an adaptive quality trim, balancing the benefits of retaining longer reads against the costs of retaining bases with errors.

The information about this trimming step can be found at: http://www.usadellab.org/cms/uploads/supplementary/Trimmomatic/TrimmomaticManual_V0.32.pdf http://bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org/content/30/15/2114

Thanks

Carlos

Hello,

This is how the tool authors implemented the wrapper. If you want to know why - or if they are planning on changes - contact them directly through the Tool Shed. http://usegalaxy.org/toolshed

Log in, navigate to the tool, and in the upper right corner pull down menu is the option to send them an inquiry. Include a link to this post if you want them to reply here.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
