Hi,

I recently setup a TopHat alignment of my RNA-seq data, but when I use Cufflinks on this data the history items just stay grey boxed with an exclamation mark in the top left. I left it for 5 days, but it still didn't process.

I went back and had a look at the accepted alignment TopHat results and they say;

"An error occurred setting the metadata for this dataset. Set it manually or retry auto-detection".

But when I do retry to autodetect on these datasets thefollowing response is give;

"This dataset is currently being used as input or output. You cannot change metadata until the jobs have completed or you have canceled them."

In conclusion, I don't know what to do with this data now? How do I solve the error with the metadata so as I can run Cufflinks?

Thanks Richard
