There is a dead link under the plotHeatmap tool.

Under : Color map to use for the heatmap Available color map names can be found here: http://www.astro.lsa.umich.edu/~msshin/science/code/matplotlib_cm/

This link gives a "no longer maintained" message and redirects to: http://www2.physics.ox.ac.uk/users/msshin/science/code/matplotlib_cm

which doesn't exist.

This is quite funny, that the no longer maintained link has better maintenance than the new one.

I am not sure how to solve this though as the oxford site does not find any matplotlib references in fulltext search.

edit: can we use http://matplotlib.org/examples/color/colormaps_reference.html instead?

The best reference is:

http://matplotlib.org/1.4.3/users/colormaps.html

(For some reason for the latest version (1.5) of matplotlib the images are not showing)

Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for reporting and Marting for finding the link. I have updated deeptools, this will be available in the next release.

Ciao, Bjoern
