Hi all,

I'm new in the Galaxy...

I uploaded a FastQ file with 16S amplicons in order to assign taxonomic labels to reads, which should be best done by Kraken. The program does not run because I do not select a kraken database, but no database is available. Anyone to give me a hand on this? Also, if you know of any good workflow for this kind of job (including QC, Kraken and other features), that would be very wellcome.

Thanks in advance,

Pablo

Hello,

The databases will be promoted to http://usegalaxy.org in the near-term. More: No Kraken database option in galaxy

Update: Here is the ticket to follow for the data update https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/1679

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

Is it possible to upload your own Kraken database using a local instance of Galaxy?
