First, thank you to the generous and thoughtful user who uploaded the human hg19 GTF file to Shared Data > Libraries > iGenomes.

I have a request for a new GTF file to be shared in the same location: mouse UCSC mm10. Currently mm9 is on Galaxy. I would share mm10 myself, but I cannot figure out how to get FTP file transfer to work on my computer (Mac OS 10.7.5).

Could a kind-hearted community member please transfer the UCSC mm10 GTF to Shared Data > Libraries > iGenomes?

It can be downloaded from here: https://support.illumina.com/sequencing/sequencing_software/igenome.html

Hello,

This is a good idea and already has a open ticket with our team.

Meanwhile, if you uncompress the file from iGenomes locally on your own computer, it will contain a file named genes.gtf. This is reference annotation dataset. Just up load that. The complete archive will not load via URL as it has an unsupported mulit-file compression types.

Hope this helps! Jen, Galaxy team
