Hi,

I have holding tasks because I have 100% space ocuppied. I have deleted data to make some space on friday, but it didn't modify the situation so far on monday. What can I do? Is it normal? Thanks!

Have you followed the "Delete Permanently" instructions here:  https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Learn/ManagingDatasets#Delete_vs_Delete_Permanently ?

If you've deleted the data permanently, I can manually recalculate your usage to force an update if you can share your galaxy username.

Hi,

I've already deleted data permanently. My username is marcoslancia@gmail.com. Thanks again!

I did a manual recalculation, but usage remains the same.  Can you go to your saved histories list, click 'advanced search', and then toggle the status field from 'active' to 'all', and make sure you don't have old deleted histories taking up space?

I made a refresh history and now I have 79% used. Thanks!

What happen with the holding tasks? They automatically restart working?

Hello, If you had paused jobs (light blue) due to being over quota, you can get them going again by using the History menu option "Resume Paused Jobs". If the jobs are simply in the queue waiting to run (grey), these will start by themselves.  http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Dataset_status_and_how_jobs_execute
