Hello, It is not clear from the post title or the message what help we can offer. Could you be more specific about the question? You can update the question directly if you want, use "edit". Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

Hi, We are going to close this question out. If you run into the issue again and need help, please start a new post and include more details. Just as a guess .. it sounds as if you perhaps were unable to choose a file from your history to use with a tool. And maybe you have figured it out. If not, and this was the problem, please see our wiki here: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Tool_doesn.27t_recognize_dataset

Jennifer

I can not get data from my local computer to convert Bam to Bed file.

I am always given " Unfortunately, your browser does not support multiple file uploads or drag&drop "

Please help.

Hello,

Converting formats occurs after uploading data as a distinct step, so load the data first and assign the correct "datatype" before using tools with it.

Use the browser Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for the best performance with Galaxy and make sure it is a current version. If your file is over 2G, use the FTP method. If less than that, the file can be "browsed".

The help here explains: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Loading_data

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
