Hello, can somebody help/explain something to me? I've been trying to get galaxy to preform a FastQC function on my FastQ Groomer data, but it just doesn't go past the waiting stage! After a while it just puts up an error, that says, that if the problem presists, to contact admin. How can I contact the admin?

Does anybody else has this problem? Can anybody give me a solution for it?

The error in question:

"An error occurred while getting updates from the server. Please contact a Galaxy administrator if the problem persists."

Are you using the Galaxy at usegalaxy.org or are you running your own Galaxy on your laptop?

Is your account activated? Have you tried refreshing your history? How many jobs do you have running? Did you run at least one succesful job on usegalaxy.org?

Yes I have logged in and have tried refreshing my history multiple times! I have three FASTQC jobs running (waiting more precise). I have ran over 100 successful jobs - http://i.imgur.com/1kaI82K.png

Hi - both Martin and are part of the core team and can help.

Please send the email for your account to <galaxy-bugs at bx dot psu dot edu>. The list is private to our internal team. Include the link to this Biostars post please. You do not need to send your password (to us or anyone else that may ask).

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

Solved via the mentioned buglist. The input datasets for the fastqc tool did not have metadata set properly due to a resolved error on the Galaxy side.
