Question: Need help with "Join two Datasets" tool

Is there a way to do a complete merge with this tool? For my 2 data sets there are going to be rows that are matching and rows that are unique to each file. When I join set 2 with set 1, I want to be able to keep the lines from the second set of data that do not join with the first instead having them deleted. Is that a possibility?

The last three options on this tool form permit you to keep lines that are not a match. It is good idea to choose to "Fill empty columns" to keep the column order intact. Note that this keeps lines for the first dataset only.

To obtain a full union, you will need to run the tool twice, then merge the results and remove redundant lines.

I have another update. I created a ticket for our team to consider updating the tool to perform a full outer join. No promises, but the request has been made for review by our development team/community. It is located here:
